Precision AC Motor Controller For Treadmill Manufacturers
Industrial Indexing Systems has developed this special version of the ISD core to control a low cost 3-phase AC squirrel cage motor. This version of the ISD product line is designed to drive an AC motor smoothly through a wide speed range for treadmill belt applications. Special hardware and software are employed to reduce motor current harmonics to provide smooth running without sacrificing torque. Advanced DSP algorithms enhance the feel of the belt by balancing the belt speed and stiffness.
This custom designed ISD product is available in various size ranges, form factors and is available with ancillary control features such as speed feedback, level control and operator interface.

· Wide Speed Range: 4 Hz to 120 Hz
· Output: 230 VAC 3-phase PWM @ 16 KHz up to 2 HP
· Input: 115 VAC or 230 VAC single phase jumper selectable
· Control: Analog or digital as required
· PWM: Reduced motor dv/dt to enhance bearing life
· Dimensions: 5" x 10" (Dependant on ancillary features)
